What do I charge?
I’m sorry to say this is a page about my costs, that does not actually include any prices! Isn’t that annoying? The good news though is that I charge nothing for the first meeting. It is only fair we have a chance to get to know one another a little and to ensure that my service proposition fits with your needs and that we feel as if we can work together over time.
In providing great advice that is unique as you are, I do charge fees appropriate for the personalised service I deliver, although on occasion I may receive a commission in lieu of any direct fees. By working on the principles of trust, honesty, transparency and mutual respect you will always know in advance what my costs will be, so there will never be any nasty surprises. And whilst I am not the most expensive financial adviser around, I am neither the cheapest, but I always seek to provide good value. To give you a sense of things the first time I provide you with advice I will typically charge an ‘Initial Advice Fee’, and should you require continuing advice then an ‘Ongoing Advice Fee’ is charged.
So if you require cheap, homogeneous and possibly biased advice then you’re in the wrong place and you are best to contact your preferred bank, as they would be more than happy to sell you some of their own products that suit their interests, but not necessarily yours! But if you seek good value, tailored advice that is delivered with your best interest in mind, then you have definitely come to the right place.
